Australia would be the first developed country to join the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) with India
CEPA will assist Australian businesses in enhancing health and education results, as well as developing knowledge and tools and constructing facilities.
Over 85 percent of Australian exports to India will be tariff-free under the agreement, rising to 91 percent after a decade. In the same period, 96 percent of Indian goods entering Australia will be duty-free.
Australia is the first developing country to sign India's PTA (PREFERENTIAL TRADE AGREEMENT).
